Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 8 August 2026
Last Updated: 26 August 2026
Nuraan Quran Institute respects the privacy of learners, parents, and guardians who use our website and online Quran learning services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we may collect, why we collect it, how it may be used, and the choices available to you.
By submitting information through our website or communicating with us regarding our services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
When you request a free trial class, enroll in lessons, or communicate with Nuraan Quran Institute, we may collect information such as:
- Student full name
- Parent or guardian name for minor learners
- Student age or age group
- Country
- Parent or guardian WhatsApp number for minor learners
- Parent or guardian email address, when provided
- Adult learner's WhatsApp number and email address
- Selected course
- Preferred class timing
- Enrollment and scheduling information
- Payment confirmation information or proof of payment when supplied
- Parent or guardian booking confirmation for a minor learner
- Messages or enquiries sent to us
We aim to collect only information reasonably necessary to arrange and provide our online Quran learning services.
2. Information About Children
Nuraan Quran Institute provides Quran education to children as well as adults.
When the learner is a minor, a parent or legal guardian should arrange the booking and enrollment.
The student's name and age or age group may be provided so that lessons can be arranged appropriately.
Contact information such as WhatsApp number and email address should belong to the parent or guardian rather than the child where appropriate.
The booking form may ask the parent or guardian to confirm that they are arranging the trial for the learner. We record this confirmation as part of the booking record.
Where applicable law requires additional parental or guardian authorization for processing a child's personal information, the parent or guardian is responsible for providing the required permission.
3. How We Use Information
We may use submitted information to:
- Arrange a free trial class
- Contact the learner or parent/guardian
- Confirm class timings
- Assign or coordinate teachers
- Manage enrollment
- Provide online Quran classes
- Respond to enquiries
- Communicate scheduling changes
- Confirm payments
- Maintain necessary administrative records
- Improve the operation of our services
We do not use personal information for purposes unrelated to providing or administering our services unless permission is obtained or the use is otherwise permitted by applicable law.
If you separately select the optional marketing-consent box, we may use the contact details you provided to send relevant course updates or create a limited advertising audience. Refusing or withdrawing this optional consent does not affect your trial class or lessons.
4. Online Communication and Class Platforms
Nuraan Quran Institute may communicate with learners and parents through services such as WhatsApp.
Online lessons may be conducted through supported video-meeting platforms such as Zoom or Google Meet.
When you use third-party communication or video-meeting services, those services may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
5. Service Providers
We may use trusted technical or communication service providers to operate our website, securely process submitted information, communicate with learners, and provide online classes.
Such providers may process limited information only as reasonably necessary to provide their services.
Where optional marketing consent has been provided, limited adult-contact identifiers such as the responsible contact's name, email address, WhatsApp number, and country may be supplied to Meta for a Customer List Custom Audience. A child's name is not used as the advertising contact's name. Non-consented and opted-out contacts are excluded.
6. Sharing of Information
Nuraan Quran Institute does not sell learners' personal information.
Information may be shared only where reasonably necessary:
- with service providers supporting our operations
- with teachers where required to conduct lessons
- to comply with applicable legal obligations
- to protect the safety, rights, or legitimate interests of learners, Nuraan Quran Institute, or others where permitted by law
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- provide our services
- manage enrollment and communication
- maintain appropriate administrative or payment records
- resolve disputes
- comply with applicable obligations
Information that is no longer reasonably required may be deleted or anonymized where appropriate.
8. Information Security
We take reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information from unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, or loss.
However, no online system or method of electronic communication can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Your Privacy Choices
Depending on applicable law, learners, parents, or guardians may contact us to request:
- access to personal information we hold about them
- correction of inaccurate information
- deletion of information where applicable
- withdrawal of consent where consent is the basis for processing
Requests may be made using the contact details provided on the website. A verified deletion request is handled as a coordinated erasure of linked lead, student, billing, schedule, class, progress, and communication records, except where limited records must be retained for a legal obligation.
10. International Learners
Nuraan Quran Institute is operated from Pakistan but provides online services to learners in multiple countries.
By using our services, your information may be processed in connection with delivering those services from Pakistan or through service providers involved in website operation, communication, and online lessons.
Where applicable privacy laws provide additional rights, we aim to respect those requirements.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, technology, or legal obligations change.
The latest version will be published on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.
